Not an upgrade, and not a line on the bill. It is simply what goes in. If you want decorative ends or gold, your piercer puts the pieces in front of you and tells you the full number first. It is ASTM F136 titanium, and your piercer can show you the mill certificate.

Nova Scotia law sets no minimum age for body piercing. The ages below are our own policy, and they are stricter than the law requires.

We never pierce below the youngest age shown, for anyone. Below the “on your own” age a parent or legal guardian consents and stays in the room throughout. The parent or guardian brings government-issued photo ID showing date of birth, and so does the child; a child under 16 being pierced can bring a health card or student photo ID if they have no other ID. Bringing a child for a first ear piercing? Lobes start at age 5. Both ears can be done in one sitting for $90, titanium jewellery and premium aftercare included, and you stay in the room the whole time. We pierce with a sterile, single-use needle, never a piercing gun.
Most of our 28 placements are $80: every ear cartilage spot (helix, tragus, conch and the rest), nostril, septum, eyebrow and every lip placement except snake bites. One ear lobe is $60, both lobes $90, a belly button (navel) piercing $90, tongue $100, snake bites $120 and a nipple pair $135. Every one includes implant-grade titanium jewellery and the full-size aftercare spray.
A full-size 120 ml piercing aftercare spray, one bottle per piercing, handed to you on the day. Your piercer shows you how to use it for your placement before you leave, and you can call or text with any question afterwards for as long as you need to.
Every price on this page is before tax. Tax is added at the till, the way it is anywhere else. Nothing else is added: the jewellery and the aftercare package are already in the figure.
Of course, and the price stays the same. It is part of the service rather than a separate item. Nobody will push it on you.
Not always. Walk-ins are possible depending on whether our piercer is in and how busy we are, and there may be a wait. Calling or texting first is the safer bet, especially for a specific placement.
It depends on the placement, so see the table above. Ear lobes start at 5 with a parent present. Eyebrow, lip and nipple piercings are 18+ with no exceptions, and septum and tongue are 16+ with no exceptions. A child under 16 being pierced can bring a health card or student photo ID if they have no other ID; everyone else brings government-issued photo ID showing date of birth.
Call or text and ask. There is no time limit and no charge for aftercare questions. Replacement jewellery and any extra services are quoted separately.
Briefly, and less than most people expect. Lobes are over in a second, and cartilage has more of a pinch to it. Prerna will tell you honestly what a given placement tends to feel like before you decide.
